Should I come?
It's been a difficult, long, emotional time since Covid came along. For some of you, travelling to Mexico is a very long way; some people have a lot of weddings to go to which were postponed during the pandemic; people have different viewpoints about Covid - we totally get it.
That said, we invited each person very deliberately, so of course we would love to have you with us!
Why San Jose del Cabo, Mexico?
Given that Trisha is from the UK and Jenny is from America, this wedding was always going to be a "destination" for some!
We considered London, Colorado, Los Angeles, and San Francisco/ Oakland before landing on Mexico.
Mexico felt like a balanced destination for both of us. We have spent some of our favourite times together here, and loved the idea of sharing this beautiful place with all of you! We deliberately wished to bring our loved ones from all over the world together to not just have an event - but to create some memories.
Kids
We love your kiddos! However, the only children we're having at the wedding are our siblings's kids.
That said, if you'd like to bring them to Mexico, we would love to have them and we have a great recommendation for childcare services who come highly recommended by our wedding planner.
Baja Babysitters
All of their sitters speak perfect English and have their certifications up-to-date. Once the booking is confirmed, they will send a profile of the sitter that includes the picture, biography, and childcare references. We suggest making arrangements as far in advance a possible. Food and Drink
Cabo Azul has a tonne of food options around the hotel. There's also a supermarket down the street which you can stock up at. Most of the hotel rooms have full kitchens, and it was deliberate for us to choose this hotel so that you could have the option of a quick bowl of cereal through to home cooked meal if you wanted (especially for those traveling with kids!)
For ordering outside food to the hotel, Uber Eats is available but with limited options. There is a local company called Cabo Eats that has a variety of options. We tested this out the first night with ordering Chinese food - success! It did take about an hour in total.

What's the weather like?
It's warm, but not baking! It should be tshirts and shorts/ thin trousers/ skirts during the day, but definitely a shawl/ jacket/ sweater in the evenings - maybe even during the day too!
Will there be anything organised the wedding week?
Not formally, but very much informally, yes!
Please check the "Things to do page" regularly.
A major reason we opted for a destination wedding was so our loved ones could get to know one another and we could all build some memories together!
We will be based at the hotel from Sunday 30th January, and very much look forward to hanging by the pool, having some food and drinks with you all, and maybe being convinced to go to a bar after dinner.
Travel and to and from the Sangeet & Wedding
We will arrange transportation to and from the venues for both the Sangeet and the Wedding day (and will help if anyone needs to head back to the hotel early for some reason).
Wedding attire?
We highly recommend no heels for the wedding day as it's nearly all on grass.
Also, whilst it's warm, please be sure to bring something to cover your arms with - it's all outside and we'd hate for you to get cold!
Will there be an afterparty?
Most. Definitely. We gotchoo!
Hospitals
Cabo is a major tourist destination and furthermore, a lot of US ex pats live there. There are good, clean, modern hospitals within easy reach of the hotel and venues.
Are Turbo and Louis coming??
Turbo pawlitely paw-doned himself. He's so happy we're getting meow-rried but was rather hissterical at the thought of the plane - he's a clawful traveller. We tried to purrsuade him, and indeed, he's feline really sad about missing our big day, but he's purrty pawsitive he won't be able to conquer his fur of flying.
As for Louis, unfortunately dogs his size can't fly easily to Mexico so we've reluctantly accepted that Louis isn't going to be at the wedding! You can only imagine how sad we are about Turbo and Louis not being there! Thank you for your interest, concern and support at this difficult time.
